Who Should Go?

If your musical tastes have good range, this show will test them a bit.  Heaven for Real is pretty much a garage pop band.  If you like Sloan, Eric's Trip, or Bright Eyes for instance, you'll probably enjoy Heaven for Real.  Baby Cages is much darker.  Cool vocals that remind me of 80's goth, and a sound that is synth heavy with kind of a velvet underground vibe.

Why Should I Go?

Both bands are really interesting, if you can get past the genre flip, I think this will be a really good show.

Hands down.  Listen, Save yourself some time, stop reading this and just go eat some. With the number of pizza and wing places scattered across the city and when you consider that Hamilton is just down the highway from the birthplace of buffalo chicken wings, you'd think that there might be lots of contenders for best chicken wing in the city.  I am however going to take a risk here and just call it.   Work, an unpretentious (in fact...super friendly) hang-out on James Street North and its my hands down winner.  I don't even hesitate to say that you'd be hard pressed to find a better wing anywhere.

Why Should I Go?  If you don't know Corin or haven't heard of him I can personally vouch for the fact that you will absolutely enjoy this show.  Corin not only writes great songs but also captivates the audience with the (often funny) stories behind his songs. Corin may very well still be celebrating the Juno nomination for his album Hobo Jungle Fever Dreams, as well as sharing some songs as yet unrecorded. “Corin Raymond is a storyteller who by the end of the night you’ll have known your whole life.” – The Globe and Mail.
